| What
is Grass Fed? Grass Grass-fed meat is from animals eating
forages in pastures for their diet. This allows animals to harvest their
own food and dispose of their own manure in the pasture. |

Available in packages, approximately one pound. Also available in patties. |
How
is it different from other beef? It is much lower in total fat.
It gives you from two to six times more of a type of "good" fat
called "omega-3 fatty acids."

| Cooking
is paramount! The big difference at home will be in how the meat is
prepared. With less fat, grass fed ground beef can burn if not
handled properly. Other cuts should be marinated and cooked longer for
more tenderness. |
